McLardy McShane raise record fundraising tally at annual FightMND Golf Day
Hosting the seventh edition of its annual FightMND Golf Day last Friday, McLardy McShane is proud to announce the event raised a record $120,000, with all funds raised to go towards two of McLardy McShane's key community partners, FightMND and Cure EB Foundation
The day kicked off in inspiring fashion with Neale Daniher in attendance to formally open proceedings.120 players then descended on the Moonah Links course, sweltering through a hot January day on the Mornington Peninsula.
But it was the teams of Nick McLardy and Will Thompson, and John Naughton and Graeme Carson who dealt with the challenges of the day best, with the two pairs sharing the winning podium at the end of play.
The event then moved on to the Continental Hotel in Sorrento, with 220 people in attendance at the sit-down dinner.
With radio host and media personality Russel Howcroft emceeing the evening, the crowd was entertained by comedians Mick Molloy, Sam Pang and Titus O’Reilly, while legendary football journalists Mike Sheahan and Caroline Wilson also dropped by for a chat.
