Congratulations to retiring Intercharge director Ann Cartwright

McLardy McShane would like to acknowledge Ann Cartwright who has recently retired after over 40 years of service at Intercharge.

Alongside her husband Neville, Ann helped to launch Intercharge in 1982. Ann has been a director of the company, while Neville is the managing director.

Intercharge joined McLardy McShane as a joint venture in 2021.

Firstly, congratulations on your retirement! How do you reflect on your past 42 years at Intercharge? 
I feel quite proud of what Neville and I have achieved with our company. We still have some of our clients from when we started in 1982. Lots of our clients started as clients, but are now good friends. It’s been hard work, but rewarding too.

What are some of your proudest achievements at Intercharge? 
That our trust account was only out $0.21, which keeps the auditors happy! We also have a great team at Intercharge and I enjoy their company.

You became part of the McLardy McShane family in 2021, how have you found that experience over the last three years? 
We picked well with McLardy McShane, thank goodness! We had lots of interest before joining McLardy McShane to sell to, but the others didn’t feel quite right. It has been a fabulous fit with McMc. They leave us alone, but are there to help when they can. 

What are your plans for retirement?
I’m looking forward to having no routine for a while! Also looking forward to spending time with our new grandson Jack, play golf, continue bike riding and just enjoy the spare time.
