McLardy McShane proud to be represented at eighth Daniher’s Drive
McLardy McShane was again proud to be represented at this year’s Daniher’s Drive, which saw a tour through some of Victoria’s largest regional towns.
Hosted by one of the Company’s long-term community partners Fight MND, the Daniher’s Drive seeks to raise money for research into Motor Neurone Disease (MND).
At the completion of the four-day event on Sunday, the fundraising tally sat at $2,076,698 raised, with that number expected to grow in the ensuing days.
Co-founders Don McLardy and Mike McShane were amongst the Company’s representatives on the Drive.
The 250-person convoy departed from Williamstown on Thursday morning, with overnight stays in Bendigo, Warrnambool and Lorne in the following days.
The Drive culminated in a fairytale-themed final night in Lorne, which saw impressive buy-in from all participants and an appearance from Neale Daniher dressed as Captain Hook.
Whilst in Mortlake on day two, the team bus was fortunate enough to be visited by Australian music icon Mike Brady who performed his classic song ‘Up There Cazaly’ to an adoring crowd.
